Do this three to four times a day until you see an improvement.
2. Oatmeal. Another oldie but goodie, oatmeal is another anti-inflammatory and soothes the skin. One Good Thing says to take 1/2 cup of ground oats and mix it with 1/4 cup of water to make a paste. Put the paste on the rosacea and let it sit for 20 minutes before gently wiping off with a warm, wet cloth.
3. Licorice. Something in licorice root helps diminish the appearance of rosacea. Home Remedy Central combines 1 teaspoon licorice root and 1/2 cup aloe vera gel. Apply the mask to the face and leave it for 15 minutes. Wipe off with a warm, wet cloth.
4. Cucumber. You can make a soothing cucumber mask from 1 peeled, pureed cucumber and 1 egg white, blended together, according to Livestrong.com. Place the mask on your face for 30 minutes and then gently rinse it off.
5. Aloe vera. Aloe vera is excellent for hydrating the skin and healing burns and cuts. How to remove that.com recommends applying aloe vera gel straight on the affected skin twice a day.
