Mother notices odd spot on banana, alarmed over deadly side effect

Michaela Egan, 24, thought she was going for a normal day at the grocery store shopping for bananas. Mother-of-two, Michelle noticed a suspicious spot on her bananas though. At first, it wasn't obvious to her what it was.
Curious, she posted her photo to Facebook and to her surprise learned that the spot could cause 4-hour erections.

It turns out that the spot was from the deadly Brazilian wandering spider (pictured below). The venom of this spider is so powerful that it causes 4-hour long erections that eventually result in death after a few hours.

While these spiders are typically found in Brazil and South America, occasionally they do show up to other parts of the globe and often do travel through...bananas.

What other possible side effects exist from this deadly beast? Blurred vision, abdominal cramps, and hypothermia to name a few.

Needless to say, Michelle immediately returned her bananas to the store and requested a full refund.

More recently, according to Live Science, scientists have discovered the chemical responsible for the penis erection. Staff at Brazilian hospitals are now able to quickly identify the wandering spider's nasty bite, so patients get the treatment they need. It turns out the erection is a side effect of getting stung.

Next time you go shopping for bananas, make sure to examine your fruits before adding them to your basket. Beware of any unusual spots in your fruits, especially if you see dark spots and white webbing.
